Biding his time, he was a model prisoner until the day of his release. He turned on the guards once his restraints were removed. At least forty-two were killed before Bur'Gunza was brought down. [Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special #1]    Sometime later, Bur'Gunza was inducted into the Sinestro Corps. He was among the thousands on Qward during the capture of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, and Rayner's forcible separation from the Ion entity. Parallax was then able to graft himself onto Rayner. [Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special #1]    Bur'Gunza's activities during the Sinestro Corps War have yet to be documented.
