HISTORY
The first officer of the Signet Dawn, a long-range ore freighter out of the Colu spaceport, Crowe was an android programmed to insure the safety of the crew. Her programming was put to the test when the Signet Dawn developed a crack in a drive engine. The resulting explosion forced the freighter to make an emergency landing on the nearest world. Regrettably, that world was the planetform Mogo.
Years prior, six members of the Green Lantern Corps transferred a hostile alien species from an unnamed border world in Space Sector 1522 to the Green Lantern planetform Mogo for safe keeping. They thought that was the perfect solution. Time would prove them wrong. - Green Lantern vs. Aliens #1
Crowe was the only member of the Signet Dawn’s crew not to be taken by the alien species which used its victims as host bodies for their young. The last of the Green Lanterns, Kyle Rayner, came with a team of former Green Lanterns to rescue the crew of the Signet Dawn. Though their intentions were good, they were no match for the aliens. Brik of Dryad, Tomar-Dar of Xudar, Ash, and M'hdahna were carried away by the aliens when Kyle Rayner lost his power ring. The victims of the aliens were placed in cocoons in the alien hive. - Green Lantern vs. Aliens #2
Salakk of Slyggia was later taken leaving only Crowe and Kyle Rayner. The pair fought their way into the alien hive with Crowe drawing the attention of the alien drones. Taking the brunt of their attack, Crowe brought precious time for Kyle Rayner; time enough for the Green Lantern to retrieve his power ring. Crowe had been irreparably damaged by the alien drones but her sacrifice had not been in vain. Green Lantern was able to rescue Tomar-Dar, M'hdahna and one third of the Signet Dawn's crew before destroying the aliens. - Green Lantern Versus Aliens #3-4
